Massela

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Massela is a charades-style party game played on one phone. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: we do not collect your personal data.

Summary

Massela does not collect, store on any server, share, or sell any personal information. The game works entirely on your device and does not need an internet connection or an account.

Information stored on your device

Massela saves your settings (sound, music, game duration, selected categories, home screen layout), whether you have seen the tutorial, and any custom word packs you create. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Photos

If you choose a cover photo for a custom pack, you pick it through your device's standard photo picker. Only the photo you select is copied into Massela's private storage on your device so it can be shown on the pack. Massela cannot see the rest of your photo library, and the photo never leaves your device.

Motion sensors

Massela reads the device's accelerometer while you play to detect when you tilt the phone. Motion data is used in real time only and is never saved or shared.

No analytics, ads or tracking

Massela contains no advertising, analytics, crash reporting or tracking tools, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

All of Massela's data stays on your device. You can delete any custom pack inside the app, and uninstalling Massela removes everything it has saved.

Children

Massela does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with the app and on this page, with a new "Last updated" date.
